During office hours, Pam Hage (Queen of Eagles) is a geodata analyst with a PhD in coastal morphodynamics. In her own words, she’s a cartographing sand witch. In her free time, she’s an illustrator, cosplayer, and author. The artwork A Stitch in Space forms a bridge between those activities. In it, a woman sews stars to the fabric of night, restoring the sky. Pam can sew too. With the help of granny’s trusty sewing machine, this lady of stars became a cosplay outfit. Then the lady gained a name and a personality. Her story formed the inspiration for Sterrenduister (Stardark), Pam’s debut novel.
