In the remote past, Charles (1957) studied both Astronomy and Economics. He spent his entire career in secondary and higher education. Only in 2022 he switched from writing project plans to writing science fiction stories (and since then spends time wondering about the differences). He has published stories in several Dutch magazines and anthologies, and self-published some titles.
He prefers to write with respect for laws of nature, taking a special interest in consequences of technical developments for being human.
