Jasper Polane is a writer and the founder of Quasis Publishing. For fifteen years he worked as a screenwriter and wrote cartoon series for television. Since switching to writing science fiction stories, he has written seven books. His short story Witruimte (Whitespace) won the EdgeZero Award for Best Science Fiction Story in 2018 and the subsequent novel Zwartruimte (Blackspace) won the Fantoccini Award in 2024.
