Johan is a Dutch science-fiction and fantasy author whose debut novel appeared in 2001, and since then he’s been very prolific, having published 28 books. He has also edited 3 anthologies and many of his short stories have appeared in Dutch magazines and online, some have even been translated. Johan has won the EdgeZero award for best short story from 2021. He also reviews Dutch SF and fantasy novels for Fantastische Vertellingen and has a background in Biomedical Sciences, and he’s the Editor in Chief of the Dutch Veterinary Journal.
